Chilli arrivals at the APMC market in Haveri, Karnataka, have fallen to around 89,000 bags, indicating that the chilli season is nearing its end. The decline reflects reduced harvesting activity and lower supply coming into the market.

Just a few days earlier, arrivals had crossed one lakh bags, but the sharp drop within a short time highlights how quickly the season is winding down.

Despite the decrease in supply, prices have remained stable, and the market continues to see strong demand—especially for high-quality Byadgi chillies. This steady demand is helping farmers get good returns for better-grade produce.

Market data from Monday shows that different chilli varieties maintained consistent price levels, reinforcing the trend of stable rates even with lower arrivals.

Overall, the current situation reflects a tight supply with strong demand, which is keeping the market firm as the season comes to a close.
